Jonny (18:43), Melody (22:5?), Gabe (24:50?)
We were so happy to see the race back on this year! The location was different - Burgess Park. But the course is similar to the course we were used to some years ago. We love it. Gabe ran an awesome race. He sprinted it in at the end and has a new PR. Jonny was speedy! That trail running probably made this race a breeze for him. (I may have chatted a bit during the first mile, but that's worth a slightly slower time to me!) All in all, we're happy with the race and felt pretty darn good on this post-covid run. We loved seeing and catching up with Matt and his three cute girls. Being in Alpine brings back so many happy memories for me.
The Buddies jumped in on the kiddie race. Evy didn't feel like a 9-year-old need run the "Toddler Trot," but she and Jonny ran the course after the littles were done. Next year those three want to join in the 5k!
